The FBI documents are not only a chilling example of how widespread this surveillance and obstruction has become, they are an explicit warning by the security services to all who consider dissent. Anyone who defies corporate power, even if he or she is nonviolent and acting within constitutional rights, is a suspect. These documents are part of the plan to make us fearful, compliant and disempowered. They mark, I suspect, a government attempt to end peaceful mass protests by responding with repression to the grievances of Americans.

The real Gun Owners of America

Joshua Boston, the former Marine now known for sending a letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein declaring he will NOT give up his guns and criticizing her gun control proposal, appeared on CNN to debate Gun Control with Piers Morgan.

Morgan was quite subdued today, yet still pushed his distortions and flat out lies regarding AR-15s and "assault weapons" in attempts to scare the American public. Boston, held his own though and in a cool and calm fashion plowed through Morgan's lies, pushing out truth while not allowing his words to be twisted.

Despite the media loving to portray gun owners as out of control cowboys and crackpots ready to fly off the handle and let loose in a hail of bullets over the slightest infraction, Boston is far more the rule than the exception.

17 BILLION Earth Link Planets

Kepler telescope: Earth-size planets 'number 17bn'

Astronomers say that one in six stars hosts an Earth-sized planet in a close orbit - suggesting a total of 17 billion such planets in the galaxy. The result comes from an analysis of planet candidates gathered by the Kepler telescope.

The Kepler team also announced 461 new planet candidates, bringing the satellites' total haul to 2,740. The findings were announced at the 221st meeting of the American Astronomical Society in California.

Alex Jones Gets Played by Piers Morgan

Walking right onto Piers Morgans set and into his setup for the inevitable hit pieces to follow, Alex Jones missed his mark and his opportunity to share some real critical facts with an audience used to only hearing Morgans lies and distortions.

While I understand that Alex Jones is also responsible for a White House petition demanding the deportation of Piers, however it's hard to believe that Morgan invited Jones just to discuss this symbolic gesture.

I would have loved to hear Alex actually debate Piers on Gun Control and the lies the media parrots at us 24/7. I would have loved to see how FACTS played out vs MYTHS. I would have loved to see a cool and calm Alex taking real advantage of the audience he had been handed to spread some knowledge and common sense.

Piers didn't get schooled...he got EXACTLY what he was hoping for out of Jones.

Alex Jones was out witted by Morgan who merely wanted to paint Jones and others who stand against gun control as out of touch tin foil hat wearing crazies. This fact is made abundantly clear when Piers brings up 9/11 to try and the point home to his viewers all the while wearing a smug self satisfied look on his face.

Plain and simple--Alex lost his cool and Piers played him.What a wasted opportunity.

The Obama administration is making it easier for bureaucrats to take away guns without offering the accused any realistic due process. In a final rule published last week, the Justice Department granted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) authority to “seize and administratively forfeit property involved in controlled-substance abuses.” That means government can grab firearms and other property from someone who has never been convicted or even charged with any crime.

It’s a dangerous extension of the civil-forfeiture doctrine, a surreal legal fiction in which the seized property — not a person — is put on trial. This allows prosecutors to dispense with pesky constitutional rights, which conveniently don’t apply to inanimate objects. In this looking-glass world, the owner is effectively guilty until proved innocent and has the burden of proving otherwise. Anyone falsely accused will never see his property again unless he succeeds in an expensive uphill legal battle.
